A gentle, beginner-friendly yoga class. Move, stretch, strengthen and breathe at an easy pace—perfect if you’re new to yoga or want a calm, supportive start to your Sunday.

 

Thursday early evening yoga class 

5.15pm-6.15pm Dunvant Social Centre

Due to the popularity of the Grow As You Go Sunday yoga class, a further class has been added to the timetable on a Thursday afternoon. The first class will be on Thursday March 12th 2026

Take a pause from the rush of everyday life and reconnect with your body in this supportive Hatha chair yoga class.

Designed to be accessible for all levels, this session uses the chair for stability and ease, allowing you to explore gentle stretches, mindful movement, and steady breathing without needing to get down on the floor.

Through slow, guided postures and relaxation techniques, you’ll build flexibility, improve posture, and release tension while calming the mind.

You’ll be encouraged to work entirely to your own ability, with plenty of options to make each movement easier or a little more challenging as you grow in confidence.

Progressive variations are always offered, so you can build strength, improve balance, and increase flexibility safely over time.

There’s no pressure, no need to get down on the floor, and no previous experience required—just come as you are.

Expect a welcoming, sociable atmosphere where you can move, breathe, and leave feeling a little looser, steadier, and more energised each week.

 

Whether you’re new to yoga, returning after a break, or simply looking for a softer practice, this class offers a welcoming space to move, breathe, and unwind at your own pace.

Chair yoga prices are offered on a pay - what - you -can basis, so everyone is welcome regardless of budget.
